Aging Mindfully: Healthier, Happier uses interactive discussion and skill building to study lifestyle practices
recommended by older adults successfully managing aging’s challenges and proven by medical research for enhancing
brain, body and mind fitness and function. The topics covered include Bad Stress, Good Stress, Attitude, Exercising Brain,
Body and Mind, Mindfulness, Nutrition, Sustained Self Renewal, Compassion, Empathy and Community. Participants
are asked to spend 15 minutes a day on skill practices. A course guidebook Mindfully Aging: Healthier, Happier is provided for elective reading going deeper into the topics being discussed.
