In many learning environments cultural discontinuity exist between students and staff of all walks of life. There is a cultural mis-match between many of the students’ culture and the culture in the classroom, which in many cases cause communication gaps between students and educators in diverse settings. This training will define and demonstrate how culture and cultural responsiveness impact students’ learning. The session will also provide educators with ideas and strategies that remedy some challenges students face that impacts student achievement. The session will be inter-active and realistic.
