It’s amazing what you can do on your phone with a few free
apps: Pay a parking meter in downtown Lexington, get a replay
and schedule of UK Athletics, find walking tours in Lexington
and other cities, check out an eBook or audiobook from your
local library, find live precipitation measurements for many
counties in Kentucky, see what’s happening on Nicholasville
Road by viewing live traffic cameras, find out about real time
power outages, make a collage with your pictures, animate
your pet to talk to you, and scan an item to determine its price
in a store. These apps will be demonstrated, and students can
follow along on their iPhones.
