As we age, it becomes important to have in place legal
documents that will both assist us in caring for our aging
parents or partners and enable our children to care for us. This
course will look at the identity of those documents, how they are
created. when they can be applied, and the process of making
them active. During 5 sessions, we will discuss Wills, Powers of
Attorney, Trusts, Medicare and Medicaid planning, Long-term
Care Insurance, Competency Proceedings, the Probate Process,
and other legal subjects mature Kentuckians need to know.
