This SIG will meet the first Wednesday of each month
September through May, to consider and discuss some of the
internationally best-selling mystery novels; each was first in a
series for a beloved detective, with many, many sequels. The
SIG will start with Sept. 7: A Morbid Taste for Bones (Brother
Cadfael) by Ellis Peters. Oct. 5: A Study in Scarlet (Sherlock
Holmes) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Nov. 2: The Silver
Pigs (Marcus Didius Falco) by Lindsey Davis. Dec. 7: The
Mysterious Affair at Styles (Hercule Poirot) by Agatha Christi.
Handouts will be emailed to participants before each session.
